The Big Apple, here I come... soon!

Hi peeps!
Today I booket my airplane tickets, my hotels and my car. On June 25th, I'm coming to the US! I can't wait! First we (my family) planned to go straight from Oslo to New York, but we found some much cheaper tickets on Iceland Air, so we'll go through Keflavik ;) I love saying that name, Keflavik...
I have been to Iceland once before, but I was only there for three days :D My "grandmother" is from Iceland so my aunt, my uncle and I went there to celebrate her 80 something birthday:D

In June we are first going to New York for five days, then we are going to spend 4th of July in Philadelphia before we head to D.C and later to Boston! Originally, we didn't even plan to go to Boston, but since we changed from Norwegian to Iceland Air, we can go home from Boston!

In New York we are actually going to stay at two hotels... It was much cheaper :D First we are staying at Worlds Center Hotel for two days before we move across the street to Millenium Hilton :D
This is the entrance to The Millenium Hilton!

As you can see, The Millenium Hilton was very close to The World Trade Center and was very damaged in 2001.

This is one of the rooms at The World Center Hotel.

This is the future view when all the buildings at the 9/11 Memorial is finished.

I haven't booked the rest of the hotels, but I will put out pictures as soon as I do :D

'Till then...

Travel is everything... I love to fly!

The one thing I want to do right now, is travel. I really wish I could just jump on a plane and go somewhere spontaneously. Completely out of the blue. Do like Jim Carrey in Yes Man, take the first one to leave the airport :D What an amazing feeling that must be! I wanna see the world before I die, not just school and work. I wanna go to Paris, New York, Washington DC, Rome, Venice, Tokyo and Sydney and plenty of other places to. but after thoughtful consideration, I have decided to finish school before I go anywhere, unfortunately...

Michael Scofield's Origami Creations!

Michael Scofield made the most beautiful origami swans in "Prison Break"! The swan sort of travels with the characters throughout the show and ends up on Michael's grave. The swan has become like a symbol for the TV-show and everyone who knows Prison Break understand what I'm talking about.
This is the swan.
And here you can see the swan on Michael's grave...

But, Michael doesn't only make swans, he also made a flower once. The flower he gave to Sarah while he was still in prison, and which L.J gave back to Michael when they thought Sarah was dead... But fortunately, she wasn't and Michael gave her the same flower back.

This is the beautiful flower Michael gave to Sarah.

Be the change you want to see in the world...

New York, New York!

I have been to New York once. I think I was around nine, so I don't remember much, unfortunately. I remember I almost became sick on top of The Empire State Building, that I visited Ground Zero and The Statue of Liberty and of course Times Square. We celebrated Norway's National Day in New York, which was really nothing like the celebration in Norway, which probably isn't that odd...
My family were visiting Philadelphia because of my parents work, so when we had some time off, we decided to go to Washington DC, Baltimore and New York. I don't remember a thing from Baltimore, but I remember a lot from DC, for instance, The White House of course, The National Monument, Capitol Hill, the FBI building and I remember a park with squirrels, but i don't remember where the park was.

Unfortunately, I can't find any photos from the trip, because they are not on my computer, so I'm gonna continue to look for them and scan them if I find them. God, I hope I do!

Here are some other photos from New York and Washington DC:

New York, I'll be back one day! I swear!

Addiction

Ok, so like I said yesterday, I love Prison Break! So two-three days ago I saw all the seasons and The Final Break for the first time( I'm a little behind) and I TOTALY love it!! I even missed The Vampire Diaries...
But, I couldn't get enough of it, so I'm back at season one. I'm driving my parents nuts:D

And I have to mention it... Michael Scofield is so missed! I can't get over it! Why did the series have to end like that?

  • I have been to The United States twice, and I really, really want to go back!
  • Prison Break is my top, absolute favorite TV series in the whole wide world!!!!!
  • I watch way to many movies, but it's kind of my hobby ;)
  • I love horses
  • and of course music! Music is everything. I listen to all kind of music...!

And there is probably a lot of other things too, but this is everything I can come up with right now.
